A Contact Lens Exam is a Comprehensive Eye Exam in which your existing contact lenses will be assessed and altered according to your needs. If you are a current contact lens wearer, in most cases you will receive a new trial pair of contact lenses and care product on the same day of your exam.
For those of you who would like to try another type of contact lens or who have never worn contact lenses before and are interested in trying them; Dr. Rosanna Lovecchio will use the information from your Comprehensive Eye Exam to determine what type of contact lens best suits you. She then discusses her recommendations with you based on her findings and your specific needs.
If you are new to contact lens wear, Dr. Rosanna Lovecchio will instruct you on the method of insertion and removal of your trial pair of lenses as well as their and wear schedule. Usually a seperate visit is needed for this session.
A Contact Lens Follow Up Visit is usually scheduled for about one week after getting your trial pair of contact lenses to make sure you and Dr. Lovecchio are happy with them. This visit is also an opportunity to address any issues or questions you may have.
