	*Amber Yarbrough, BC-HIS* is a board certified, hearing instrument specialist and has been helping people with their hearing health for the past 11 years. She started her career by working in a hearing device lab preparing molds for the complete production of hearing instruments after the intial impression of the ear is taken. Most hearing professionals do not have this training. Amber's background allows her to know all phases of hearing device production and repair.
	Before conducting the hearing test, Amber explains the anatomy and function of the ear as well as basic mechanics of how sound travels through the various parts of the ear to the brain. With an understanding of how sound is processed, she then explains where hearing loss might occur.
	Once the evaluation is given, Amber explains the results and discusses options for your individual hearing device. She takes into consideration four concerns: degree of hearing loss, cosmetics, budget and lifestyle. Measurements are taken and your hearing device is then ordered and fabricated to your predetermined specifications. Your device is then dispensed to you personally by Amber once it has been completed.
