Comprehensive Eye Exams

Eye exams include:

• vision assessment
• color vision assessment
• depth perception assessment
• visual field assessment
• keratometry to determine the curvature of the front of the eye
• refraction to determine your vision correction
• slit lamp examination to assess the external and anterior structures of the eyes
• tonometryto measure the pressure of your eyes
• dilated ophthalmoscopic exam to assess the internal structures of your eyes

General Office Visits

Office visits are reserved for specific complaints or concerns. They are usually streamlined to determine the cause and treatment of that complaint.

• pathology visits assess specific complaints dealing with ocular health issues such as pink eye or allergies
• intra-ocular pressure visits assess the pressure of the eye to determine if glaucoma is suspected
• contact lens follow up visits are sceduled to assess a new fit or change in a contact lens prescription

Dry Eye Evaluations

Dry Eye Evaluations assess the tear function of patients with complaints or evidence of dryness to their eyes. Various tests are performed and then a regimen is prescribed to alleviate the complaints. Follow up visits are scheduled after treatment is started to determine how well the patient is responding.
